Jakarta, IDN Times – PT Rajawali Nusindo, a subsidiary of Holding Pangan ID Food, is accelerating the distribution of Stabilized Supply and Food Price (SPHP) rice and MinyaKita cooking oil across Indonesia. This initiative supports President Prabowo’s Asta Cita program, particularly in achieving food self-sufficiency.
Perum Bulog is collaborating with Rajawali Nusindo, which operates 41 branches nationwide, to ensure efficient distribution. The program is designed to protect consumers’ purchasing power and maintain affordable food prices, especially for lower-middle-income communities.
The target for SPHP rice distribution in January-February 2025 is set at 300,000 tons.
1. 5,024 Tons of SPHP Rice Distributed
According to Wahyu Sakti, the President Director of PT Rajawali Nusindo, the company has distributed a total of 5,024 tons of SPHP rice from October 2024 to January 2025, broken down as follows:
- October 2024: 781 tons
- November 2024: 1,766 tons
- December 2024: 1,904 tons
- January 2025: 573 tons
“This accelerated distribution aims to maintain SPHP rice stocks in 2024 for the general trade and modern retail segments, while in 2025, it will focus solely on the modern retail sector across selected regions,” he explained in a written statement on Friday (January 24, 2025).
The target for SPHP rice distribution during January-February 2025 remains at 300,000 tons.
To ensure a stable food supply, the SPHP rice distribution is categorized into three zones:
- Zone I includes Java, Lampung, South Sumatra, Bali, NTB, and Sulawesi.
- Zone II encompasses Sumatra (excluding Lampung and South Sumatra), NTT, and Kalimantan.
- Zone III covers Maluku and Papua.

2. 11.4 Million Liters of MinyaKita Distributed
In addition to rice, Rajawali Nusindo is also actively distributing MinyaKita cooking oil, a key government initiative aimed at addressing the ongoing high prices of cooking oil in the market.
From October 2024 until mid-January 2025, Rajawali Nusindo has successfully distributed 11,423,984 liters of MinyaKita cooking oil as follows:
- October 2024: 1,701,994 liters
- November 2024: 4,195,614 liters
- December 2024: 5,496,376 liters
- January 2025: 30,000 liters
Wahyu emphasized that the rapid distribution of MinyaKita is also focused on maintaining stability in the prices of rice and cooking oil for consumers, contributing to the control of the national inflation rate. This distribution aligns with President Prabowo Subianto’s directive to ensure that MinyaKita, the people’s packaged cooking oil, is distributed by state-owned enterprises (BUMN) in the food sector.
“This guidance is intended to tackle distribution issues and ensure that the price of MinyaKita remains below the Highest Retail Price (HET) of Rp15,700 per liter. It also supports the Ministry of BUMN’s efforts for state-owned food enterprises to fully back food self-sufficiency,” he stated.
3. Aiming for Stable Rice and Oil Prices
With Rajawali Nusindo’s equitable distribution efforts, Wahyu hopes to maintain stable prices for rice and cooking oil. Furthermore, he emphasizes that communities in various regions should have adequate supply at reasonable prices.
Last year, Rajawali Nusindo also played a significant role in delivering 3.36 million stunting aid packages across four provinces: Banten (555,924 packages), East Java (2,245,182 packages), West Sulawesi (123,798 packages), and East Nusa Tenggara (438,408 packages).
The distribution of these millions of food packages was carried out through branches located in these provinces, including Serang, Tangerang, Madiun, Jember, Malang, Sidoarjo, Surabaya, Kupang, and Makassar.
