Jakarta, IDN Times – The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is currently investigating allegations of corruption related to the corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds of Bank Indonesia. There are suspicions of misappropriation of these funds.
“We suspect that some foundations were improperly allocated these funds,” said Rudi Setiawan, the Deputy for Enforcement and Execution at KPK, during a press conference in South Jakarta on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
However, Rudi refrained from disclosing the names of the foundations under investigation, as the inquiry is still ongoing.

“Bank Indonesia has CSR funds, and a certain percentage of those funds were allocated to entities that do not meet the proper criteria, roughly speaking,” he further explained.
Prior to this, KPK acknowledged that they had conducted searches in several offices, including that of Perry Warjiyo, on Monday, December 16, 2024. During these searches, KPK seized a number of pieces of evidence.
“We collected several documents and items. We will analyze everything carefully and collaborate with our investigative team,” he added.
