2. Highlighting Penalties for Violating Regulations
Angga asserted that if the application and digital platforms fail to comply with the applicable laws and regulations, Komdigi will not hesitate to take decisive action.
According to Government Regulation No. 71 of 2019 concerning the Implementation of Electronic Systems and Transactions, the government is obligated to protect public interests from any disturbances caused by the misuse of information and electronic transactions that disrupt public order.
“If any platform developers violate these rules, we will not hesitate to enforce strict measures,” Angga stated.
3. Transforming Coin Hunt to ‘Misi Jagat’
Barry Beagen, in response to the concerns raised, apologized to those affected by the platform’s features. He announced that the coin hunting mission would be restructured to become ‘Misi Jagat.’ With 200,000 daily users of the application, he believes this new mission can enhance the quality of public spaces.
“Following constructive discussions with Komdigi, we will transition from the Coin Hunt format to ‘Misi Jagat’ to encourage users to contribute positively to public spaces and facilities. With over one million active users in Indonesia and 200,000 new users each day, we are confident that ‘Misi Jagat’ will improve the quality of public spaces, particularly through the active participation of the youth,” he expressed.
