Suara.com – Isa Zega recently took to social media to clarify her situation following allegations of religious blasphemy against her. The accusations stem from claims that Isa, who identifies as a transgender woman, performed umrah while dressed in women’s clothing.

Nikita Mirzani, who has been vocal in her support for Ustaz Hanny Kristianto, reported Isa Zega to the police, alleging that Isa is currently in hiding due to fears for her safety.

In her social media posts, Isa Zega refuted claims that she is in hiding or has been concealed by anyone. She firmly stated that she is still in the Holy Land, engaged in her religious practices.

“There are unfounded reports claiming that I am hidden away at Lina Mukherjee’s house. They fabricate stories because they cannot locate me, assuming I have returned home, which is completely absurd,” she expressed, adding a light-hearted tone.

Isa mentioned that she plans to return on November 29, 2024, emphasizing once more that she remains in the Holy Land, not in Sidoarjo as claimed by some.

She explained her recent absence from social media by stating that she has been focused on fulfilling her umrah obligations. Isa reiterated that she has no intention of fleeing her responsibilities.

“I’m coming back on the 29th, so there’s no need for all this fuss. My home is in Jakarta, and all my possessions are there. It’s impossible for me to flee. If I wanted to do that, I would just shut down my accounts; I’m here to worship. I’ve even kissed the Hajar Aswad, and that’s not an old video—it’s absurd what people are saying,” she laughed.

Isa Zega expressed her willingness to meet with the MUI (Indonesian Ulema Council) or the police concerning the allegations of blasphemy. She stated that she feels no fear as she believes in her innocence.

“I would actually be grateful if MUI or the police called me in. It would be a chance for them to understand that all these reports are hoaxes. There’s nothing to fear as long as we are on the path of truth,” she added.

However, some netizens have raised suspicions about the authenticity of her location, questioning whether she is truly in Makkah or Madinah based on the visuals she shared.

“Sorry, but in Makkah, there are no curtains like that. Plus, there’s no window trim that resembles wood patterns. I’ve spent two years in Makkah, and even in the villages, you won’t find anything like that,” commented one user.

“I don’t recall any hotels in Makkah having that kind of music,” remarked another user who has visited Makkah before.

“During her live session, I heard a motorcycle. In Makkah, you wouldn’t hear a loud RX King exhaust like that,” another netizen pointed out.

“She must be in Surabaya, supposedly at a five-star hotel,” quipped yet another user.

“Looks like she’s at a hotel in the Senen area, mostly frequented by Arabs,” another added.

Despite the skepticism from online users, Isa Zega has once again dismissed these allegations.

“There are people saying such things in Sidoarjo; you’re all just making things up,” Isa responded during one of her live broadcasts.
