Jakarta –
AC Milan is reportedly looking to offload Noah Okafor during this summer’s transfer window, with the intention of bringing in Marcus Rashford from Manchester United.
According to Italian media outlet Football Italia, Milan is planning to loan Okafor to RB Leipzig, including an option for the German club to purchase him outright.
RB Leipzig now needs to finalize negotiations with Okafor to officially complete the transfer this January. Discussions are ongoing regarding Okafor’s salary, alongside a purchase option set at 25 million euros from Milan.
This summer, Milan is intensifying its efforts to secure Rashford’s transfer from Manchester United. To do this, the club will need to gather substantial funds.
The rumors surrounding Rashford’s move to Milan are growing stronger, particularly with reports that his brother has already been spotted in the fashion capital.
One of the major hurdles Milan faces in acquiring Rashford is the financial aspect. Currently, Rashford is one of the top earners at Manchester United, raking in 300,000 pounds sterling per week.
It remains unclear whether Rashford would be willing to take a pay cut in order to join AC Milan. However, it is worth noting that he has fallen out of favor at United, not being selected by Ruben Amorim in the last six matches.
Milan is exploring the possibility of loaning Rashford with a future purchase option. The departure of Okafor could pave the way for Rashford’s potential transfer to AC Milan.
